ZWOLLE – API technology GraphQL was launched in 2012 by Facebook and open sourced in 2015. Today, GraphQL is being used by companies like ecManager, Airbnb, GitHub, Netflix and Twitter. The technology is now being moved into its own open source foundation for more independency, development support and adoption.

GraphQL is a modern alternative for REST based API’s and offers a lot more flexibility and performance possibilities. The technology is a perfect match with the design principles of ecManager. It enables implementation partners to build fast integrations or to pick any front-end technology for building storefronts. In the last quarter of this year, our development team is fully focused on the further expansion of our GraphQL.
