Although Christmas is not until the end of December, Makro Kerstpakketten wants to attract its major customers to one of its 16 specially-equipped showrooms in June. Here, customers are inspired and introduced to unlimited possibilities when it comes to Christmas gifts. The target is mainly smaller customers, who will be likely to place an order in the webshop during October. This means that every month, new content should be placed in the shop, in order to offer customers the ultimate shopping experience.
Makro Kerstpakketten has chosen to build its new webshop using ecManager. The flexibility and ease of use that ecManager provides to shop owners were important factors for the Christmas gifts giant. Makro Kerstpakketten believes it is important that it can adapt its content quickly and easily, so that at any time, the offering is always in line with the needs of its target audience.
In September 2014, the new webshop of Makro Kerstpakketten went live: this unique Makro shop was ready for the upcoming Christmas period. Naturally, the shop is continuously optimized and in the course of 2015, the shop was also adapted for customers shopping on mobile devices. This new Makro webshop is now able to better serve its target groups.
